EAST STROUDSBURG - Sophomore men's volleyball player Chris Holden has been named the ABC Trophy, Inc. Athlete of the Week at East Stroudsburg University after setting a career-high with 26 kills in a match against Ramapo on Saturday.

Holden (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) has led the Warriors in kills in 14 of their 16 matches this season, including 10 matches in double figures.

His 26 kills against Ramapo came in a five-set match that ended with Ramapo winning the final game 22-20. He also had 12 kills in a three-game loss at New York University on Wednesday.

ESU will close the season with three matches over the next week, including home dates against St. Francis on Friday and Juniata on Saturday in EIVA Tait Division action.
