Senior captain Ryan Love (Dallas/Dallas) scored two goals in the first game of the season to help the Warriors to a 4-0 victory over the University of District of Columbia. Love opened the scoring 24 seconds into the second half when he took a pass from Shegda and scored from inside seven yards. The two connected eight minutes later for a 2-0 ESU lead.
