Basketball

Onofre was named the tournament MVP after scoring 25 points over the weekend to help the Warriors win the 42nd annual Panaia-Soloway Pocono Rotary Classic for the first time since 2001-02. Onofre had 14 points, two steals and an assist in a come-from-behind 59-50 win over Molloy. She then had 11 points, two assists and a steal in the title game, a 72-35 win over Alderson-Broaddus. ESU is off to a 6-0 start.
