BasketballWomen�s basketball standout Maryellen Onofre, a junior guard, led the Warriors to a perfect 3-0 week, including Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern divisional wins over Bloomsburg and defending conference champion Millersville. She averaged 18 points per game in three games, including 13 points against both Bloomsburg and Millersville, putting East Stroudsburg in sole possession of second place in the Eastern Division. She also had a breakout night in a win over Columbia Union, hitting a school-record eight three-pointers on her way to a career-best 28 points. Onofre was also named the PSAC Eastern division Player of the Week. |
