November 22, 2005 | ANTHONY CARFAGNO FootballSenior running back Anthony Carfagno rushed for a career-best 170 yards in the Warriors NCAA Division II playoff win over Bloomsburg. Carfagno also caught three passes for 30 yards and rushed for a touchdown in the win. He was also chosen to participate in the 2006 Cactus Bowl, a senior all-star game. Carfagno has had a record-breaking career and will look to add to those records when the Warriors host C.W. Post Saturday at noon at Eiler-Martin Stadium in the NCAA Division II quarterfinals. For his career, the 6-0, 246-pounder has rushed 269 times for 1,498 yards and caught 165 passes for 2,326 yards. He has a school and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference record 66 career touchdowns. |
