BasketballMonika Fogelsanger was honored as the PSAC East women�s basketball Rookie of the Week after an impressive three games. The freshman forward hit for 15.0 points and grabbed 11 rebounds per game to help the Warriors record a 2-1 week. She started the week with a near perfect performance in an 89-69 ESU win over Georgian Court. She hit 10 of 11 attempts, both three-point tries and all four free throws for a Warrior season-best 26 points, 10 boards, three assists, two blocks and four steals. The 5-10 forward had a second double-double of 15 points and 12 caroms in a defeat to Elizabeth City State (NC) while finishing the week with 11 rebounds and chipped in four points and an assist as ESU defeated Cheyney. |
