Greetings my incoming Warriors and parents! My name is Theresa Chey and I am currently a junior at East Stroudsburg University. I have a major in Business Management and a minor in Communication Studies. I am the chair of the coffee house for the Campus Activities Board (CAB), a Student Senator, a member of Residence Hall Association (RHA), Stage II, and Vocal Variations, as well as a peer tutor. I highly recommend you to participate in as many on campus activities and clubs as you can. This will help you gain many opportunities that will benefit your future. I love meeting new people and exploring new things. If you ever need a friend to talk to, don’t be shy to contact me or any of the other orientation leaders. Though I am an out of state student, ESU is a big part of my family and I cannot wait for you to be a part of it as well. I am a senior majoring in Early Childhood and Special Education. Outside of the classroom I am involved with Resident Hall Association (RHA), Best Buddies, Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), and also our Rugby team. Our campus holds so many great and interesting opportunities to help you to discover what you really enjoy. My name is Taylor Gardner; I am a senior from Staten Island, New York with a dual major in Special Education and Early Childhood Education and a minor in Spanish. I also work at the Campus Police Station. First, let me say that entering college — although exciting — can be a little overwhelming. At the very least, my first few weeks on campus were a little nerve-racking. But after meeting new students and learning from upper classmen, I gained confidence and felt at ease rather quickly. I am here to help you and make your transition as smooth as possible. There are many opportunities for you to meet new people, find your interests, and enjoy your time here at ESU. I am a junior double majoring in Hotel Tourism Management and Spanish with a concentration in Tourism. My student involvements include the hotel tourism club, the African American Heritage Month Committee, and my biggest commitment and involvement at ESU has been being a student senator on Student Senate. Being involved has allowed me to jump right into the college experience and has helped me to meet many new people. Joining clubs and getting involved immediately on campus definitely helped as an incoming student. Welcome, future Warriors and parents, to East Stroudsburg University! My name is Lian Mlodzienski and I am a commuter student from Bushkill, Pennsylvania. I am a senior double majoring in Biology and Chemistry with a concentration in Professional and Secondary Education. In addition to being an Orientation Leader, I am also a peer tutor and a part of several other clubs like the Biology Club and the Honors Student Association. Going to college can be scary, but it’s okay! A lot of people are scared at first, but as soon as they come to campus and start making friends, it is easy to call ESU home. Hello incoming students and parents of East Stroudsburg University! My name is Kelley Anne Stuetz, a senior majoring in Digital Media Technologies and Communication Studies, and I am from Glenside, Pennsylvania. I am a member of the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church and a part of the East Stroudsburg track and field team. In addition to this, I am also the sideline reporter for the East Stroudsburg Football team. These organizations have introduced me to a variety of different people, many of which are my close friends. Getting involved on campus is a great way to get to know people and make connections on and off campus. I am a sophomore majoring in Business Management with a concertation in Marketing and a minor in Political Science. I am extremely eager to be your orientation leader and mentor for this upcoming academic year. I am very outgoing and involved with numerous organizations right here on campus. In addition to being your orientation leader, I am an office worker at the Office of Admission and a tour guide. I'm also a part of an upcoming acapella group called vocal variations. I was born in the city of Paterson which is located in New Jersey. My major is Public Health with a concentration in Health Service Administration.
