Thomas Costanzo
Hello, parents and incoming students, and welcome to East Stroudsburg University. My name is Thomas Costanzo and I was born and raised in the East Stroudsburg/Stroudsburg area. I am a junior majoring in Nursing and I hope to one day be a critical care nurse. Other than being an orientation leader, I am also on the leadership team for the East Stroudsburg University Christian Fellowship. On campus there are plenty of ways to get involved and the sooner you do, the more pleasant your experience will be. I, and the rest of the orientation staff, can’t wait to meet you and we are here to help you as much as we can in your transition to East Stroudsburg University. Robert DeMarco
Hello everyone my name is Robert DeMarco, but you can call me Bobby! I would like to welcome all parents, family, and future warriors to ESU! I am a senior from Scranton, PA with a major in Recreation Service Management. This is my first year as an Orientation Leader and I couldn’t be more excited to meet all of this year’s incoming students. This upcoming fall I will be a Resident Advisor in Lenape Hall. I am also a member of the Residence Hall Association and an active member of Linden Hall’s community board where I held the position of vice president.  One piece of advice that you will hear from just about everyone is to get involved! The more time you stay out of your room and active in clubs, organizations, sports and whatever else you get involved in, the better experience you will have here at ESU. Tyler Dillon
Hello, parents and incoming East Stroudsburg University students! I am Tyler Dillon, a senior from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling. I am a member of Christian Fellowship and the ESU Go Green Committee. I also have been Resident Advisor for the last year in Shawnee Hall. Clubs create a great chance for everyone to get involved, so if the opportunity presents itself, always have an open mind about becoming active on campus. It feels like only yesterday that I came to freshman orientation, and I was in the same shoes as you. For many of you, this will be your first time away from home, but I’d like extend a helping hand to each and every one of you. I am here for incoming students as a mentor, a peer, and most importantly a friend, to help you through your transition in becoming part of our family here at ESU. Hello incoming East Stroudsburg University students and their parents! Welcome to ESU! My name is Paul D’Imperio and I am a sophomore, from Easton, Pennsylvania, majoring in Speech-Language Pathology. I am a member of Christian Fellowship and NSSLHA, which stands for National Student Speech Language Hearing Association. I am also an official at the recreation center. I encourage everyone to get involved on campus and meet a lot of new people. Make the most out of your college career and you’ll get the most out of it. Hello all you proud parents and amazing incoming students! My name is Dontel Ducksworth, born and raised in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (I am a very proud native of the Burg). I am extremely excited to not only be your Orientation Leader but to also be a friend and a mentor this upcoming summer and school year. I am a sophomore majoring in Musical Theatre with a minor in public relations. Being the loud, outgoing, free spirit that I had to get involved with the Musical Theatre Organization here on campus and of course the Warrior Cheerleading team.  I also will be a Resident Advisor in Minsi Resident Hall this upcoming year! I hope you all are ready to start a new chapter in your lives and here at East Stroudsburg University it can be much easier than you think. There are tons of clubs, organizations, and activities all around campus to help make this big change a lot easier for everyone to enjoy. Hello, incoming students and parents! I am excited to extend to you all a very warm welcome to East Stroudsburg University! My name is Chantal Fulgencio, and I am from Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. I am a junior, majoring in Political Science with a Pre-Law concentration, and pursuing minors in Spanish and French. I am a Student Senator in the East Stroudsburg University Student Senate, a member of the East Stroudsburg University Feminist Alliance, a member of the East Stroudsburg University Commuter Student Association, and I am a Student Ambassador with The Warrior Elite, and I am also the Vice-President for the Spanish Club. I strongly encourage all of you to carry out student success strategies like good time management, using sound note-taking, test-taking, textbook reading and paper writing skills. Also, it is important to get involved and meet new people! Getting involved is key to learning more about you and enhancing your university experience. This is an exciting time in your lives. Although it may be challenging, remember that we've all had our fair share of growing pains. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or step out of your comfort zone! Hello future warriors and parents of all! My name is Lauren Ingulli and I am pleased to welcome you to East Stroudsburg University. I am from a small town known as Hawley, located in northeastern Pennsylvania. I am a sophomore majoring in Nursing and am extremely excited about my opportunities here at ESU. I am involved in the Student Nursing Association of Pennsylvania or better known as SNAP. I am also involved in Career Peers, advocating for the Career Development Center and the ESU Christian Fellowship! There are a multitude of clubs and activities to get involved with on campus, which is something you all should look forward too. Your time spent here at ESU should be engaging and yes, fun! Hello, parents and incoming students, and welcome to East Stroudsburg University! My name is Drew Johnson, and I am from Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. I am a junior, majoring in Communication Studies with a double minor in Political Science and Philosophy. Apart from being an orientation leader, I am very involved on our campus during the academic year. I am currently running for President of Student Senate – the governing body of all student clubs and organizations here at ESU, of which I have been involved with the past 2 years. I am also a Campus Tour Guide. This university has provided me with a number of opportunities to impact my classmates on a very personal level and has allowed me to grow as an individual. I would like to let you know that there is room for everyone to make an impact on this campus and the community at large, regardless of your class year. Tambria Lee
Hello incoming students and parents! Welcome to East Stroudsburg University. My name is Tambria Lee, and I am from Bristol, PA. I am a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Public Relations. There is plenty to get involved with on and off campus. I am an active member of the African-American Student Alliance (AASA), an organization designed to promote empowerment and inspiration to those receptive to African-American culture. I am also President of ESU’s Voices of Triumph Gospel Choir. I was also a thespian in ESU’s Theatre Production of “For Colored Girls” and the spring 2013 ‘V-Day Monologue,” an event held by the Feminist Alliance.  I have been very fortunate here to learn a lot about life, better my own character, and meet a lot of amazing people from different parts of the world. Never lose sight that this experience is going to be a very pivotal journey in your lives. Live your own journey and make it the best experience it can possibly be. You will make mistakes, but take the mistakes as lessons or as blessings. It may get hard but I know you can make it through! Hello, and welcome incoming students and parents to East Stroudsburg University.  My name is Cory Levine! I am a sophomore from Franklin Park, New Jersey and I am majoring in Criminal Justice.  It will be my honor to serve as your Orientation Leader, mentor, and friend.  East Stroudsburg University offers many opportunities to grow and compliment your interests.  As long as you focus on school and get involved, your experience here will be one to remember.  I have a work-study job on campus as a desk receptionist in Shawnee Hall, I am a volunteer firefighter, and I am also a brother of Theta Chi Fraternity. Welcome, future Warriors and parents, to East Stroudsburg University! My name is Lian Mlodzienski and I am a commuter student from Bushkill, Pennsylvania. I am a sophomore majoring in Biology with a concentration in Professional and Secondary Education. In addition to being an Orientation Leader, I am also a staff writer for the Stroud Courier, the school paper, and am a part of several other clubs like the Biology Club and the Marine Science Club. Going to college can be scary, but it’s okay! A lot of people are scared at first, but as soon as they come to campus and start making friends, it is easy to call ESU home. I am a senior majoring in Computer Science and Computer Security with a minor in Mathematics. Aside from being an orientation leader, I am also a Recreation Attendant at the Mattioli Recreation Center. I am also a brother of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity. ESU offers a wide range of activities, organizations, and opportunities, and the best advice that I can give you is to not be afraid to get involved! Hey, everyone! Welcome to East Stroudsburg University! My name is Staci-Jo Palek and I am from Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. I am a senior, majoring in Exercise Science. I am an active member in the ESU Exercise Science Club, the ESU STAR program, the National Society of Leadership and Success, Treasure of the Moses Society, Go Green Committee, a Resident Advisor and a recreation official.  Students, as you start your fall semester here at ESU, come in with an open mind. Be ready for the most exciting years of your life. You may be nervous at first, but once you arrive and begin to make friends, it will really start to feel like home. Ryan Rojas
Hello, parents and students. It is my honor to welcome you to East Stroudsburg University! My name is Ryan Rojas and I am a junior from Great Meadows, New Jersey, majoring in Digital Media and Technology. This is my second year being an orientation leader, and I am thrilled to be able to introduce you to ESU, enabling you to learn, understand how to navigate your course here, and to give you a sense of how much fun you will have here. Getting involved is very important to me and you will soon see that there is so much to do! So far, I have been involved in ESU’s Latin Dance Team, Pura Esencia, and Vice President of the ESU Game Society. Currently, I am a DJ at 90.3 WESS, our campus radio station which was voted as the best college radio station by MTVU. I encourage all students to take advantage of our campus clubs and get involved as much as you can because it will make your experience here much more enjoyable and memorable. Hi, everyone! My name is Emily Selby and I am from Endwell, New York. I am a senior with a major in Psychology, with an applied concentration and I want to go into the field of Neuropsychology. In addition to being an ESU Orientation Leader here, I am also a Resident Advisor in Linden Hall. I am a member of Psi Chi, Psychology Association, and Go Green Committee. My biggest piece of advice for incoming students is to get involved! There are so many opportunities on campus for you to take part in, and once you do you won't regret it! Hello, incoming students and parents of East Stroudsburg University! My name is Kelley Anne Stuetz and I am from Glenside, Pennsylvania. I am a sophomore majoring in Digital Media Technology. I am involved with the Christian Fellowship, Fellowship for Christian Athletes, the East Stroudsburg Presbyterian Church and East Stroudsburg track and field team. These organizations have introduced me to a variety of different people and many of which are my close friends. Getting involved is a great way to get to know people and make connections on and off campus. My advice for incoming students is to stay organized and focused on your goals for the semester. I am involved in Christian Fellowship, and am a member of the cinema committee on the campus activities board. I also work as a Challenge Course Facilitator out at Stony Acres. As you start your fall semester here at ESU, you will quickly learn that there is never a dull moment and there are always new people to meet. On and off campus activities are always going on, so do not be afraid to get your feet wet in things you have never tried before and take advantage of the new opportunities waiting for you here at ESU. Hello, parents and incoming East Stroudsburg University students! My name is Dominique Washington, and I am a senior from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am a Political Science major. There is always something to do on campus, and I implore the incoming students to not just come to the university, but to live an active university life…inside and outside the classroom. Students; do not be afraid to approach your professors and to seek out your academic advisors. Their guidance and support is critical to your academic success. Join clubs and boards, because they help you learn more about yourself and they present you with a great number of opportunities…and they are fun! Being an incoming student can be a scary thought, and that is where I come in. I am here to help ease your transition and to help give you the tools you need to start this wonderful adventure that we call ESU.
