Students who did not finish the SAT exam or students who did not take the SAT exam must be scheduled to do so on Saturday, October 22. Completion of the SAT exam is required for program enrollment.

Students are reminded to please check with their instructors regarding missed work due to excused or unexcused absences.

Annie the Intern will be meeting with students throughout the month of October. Annie will notify you of your appointment time during the morning meeting.

Important Reminders

If you've signed up for tutoring, you MUST be prepared for tutoring. Please bring books, notes, and assignments with you to Upward Bound on Saturday. If your teacher at school does not give you an assignment, ASK for an additional assignment and explain that you're receiving tutoring. Most teachers will be more than happy to provide you with additional work.

The Gifts for Kids program will begin on October 22. Each year, East Stroudsburg University's Upward Bound program raises money to purchase gifts for pre–school students in the area who may not otherwise receive anything during the holiday season. Start saving your pennies, nickels and dimes now — every little bit helps.
