DO MORE – EXPORE THE OPPORTUNITIES
Students
are involved in the field from the very beginning of their program.
Classroom activities and a variety of in–depth experiences provide

educators as their identity as an ESU teacher develops. These
experiences afford students unique opportunities along their
professional path:
- To learn – as part of a Living/Learning community, study abroad, explore teaching in urban settings and work with diverse students
- To serve – volunteer teaching, community service, participation in student associations
- To teach – at a variety of grade levels, in various urban, suburban and rural settings and Professional Development Schools
- To lead – influence and impact student associations, teacher education committees, and advocacy efforts
