The Department of Business Management and Economics offers courses that will introduce you to a variety of careers in the field of business. The Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics offer the benefits of small class sizes, modern teaching classrooms, and personal advising by faculty.

East Stroudsburg University has offered the B.S. degree in Management since 1986 and the B.A. degree in Economics since 1975. The department maintains full-time academically-qualified faculty and part time professionally-qualified faculty to teach in the program. There are over 500 hundred Business Management majors and over 30 Economics majors in the department. The department graduates almost 200 students per year that go on to successful professional careers in business.

The degree programs in Business Management and Economics are designed to offer professional training at the baccalaureate level that can lead to a career in business or further graduate education.

Business Management

The purpose of the Business Management program is to provide students with the knowledge, training, and skill development they will need to pursue a successful career in business management. As a Business Management major, you choose the area of specialization that you would like to pursue. The areas of specialization are Accounting, Finance, General Management, and Marketing. When you complete the course of study, you will receive a Bachelor of Science in Management.
