by Naomi Iizuka

December 1-5, 8:00 PM
December 6, 2:00 PM
Location: Fine and Performing Arts Building up the hill off Normal Street - Dale Snow Theatre
Description: Polaroid Stories takes place on the outermost edge of a city, a no-man's land where runaways seek camaraderie, refuge and escape. Serpentine routes from the street to the heart characterize the interactions in this spellbinding tale of young people pushed to society's fringe. Inspired in part by Ovid's Metamorphoses, Polaroid Stories conveys a whirlwind of psychic disturbance, confusion and longing. Like their mythic counterparts, these modem-day mortals are gripped by the most basic needs, and engulfed by desires that burn and consume.
Because of adult language and situations, this production is recommended for mature high school students and adults.
