East Stroudsburg University - Academics - Recreation & Leisure Services Management

Our department scholarship, the Jack Jones Memorial Scholarship, is named after a former faculty member. This scholarship recognizes excellence in leadership, participation, and academics. It is awarded annually to the qualified student who has been selected by a committee of the Department's Advisory Board, which is comprised of regional recreation professionals.

To apply for this scholarship, a student must:

be a Recreation & Leisure Services ManagementÂ major
have completed at least 62 credit hours and;
have at least a 2.75 overall GPA and a 2.75 major GPA

Applications must be completed and submitted to the Department Chair. The recipient's tuition account is credited for the next semester that the student registers.

Three other scholarships are granted annually to recreation majors who have chosen the career path of commercial recreation.

Bushkill Group, Inc.Â Scholarship
Camelback Ski AreaÂ Scholarship
