This collaborative doctoral degree program has been made possible through a partnership between East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) and Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), two of fourteen institutions in the Pennsylvania System of Higher Education.
Both were founded in the late 19th century as normal schools to prepare teachers. This strong tradition in the preparation of teachers and administrators has continued into the present day.
Program Highlights
- All courses will be taught on the East Stroudsburg University Campus.
- Doctoral Candidates will remain together as a cohort group throughout the program.
- All classes will meet five times per semester on a Friday and Saturday. All classes will be presented in a seminar format that combines theory and application. The program is designed to accommodate your work schedule.
- The fall retreat will take place each October. During the two-day retreat, we invite guest speakers, former doctoral students and professional consultants to provide additional help and advice related to leadership skills and management techniques.
