This course focuses mainly on the thought of Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, though it will also occasionally include discussion of philosophers like Heraclitus, Parmenides, Protagoras, Epicurus, Epictetus, and Plotinus.

Course Requirements:

  • Attendance and Participation 10%
  • Two argumentative essays (3 pages each) 40%
  • Five Quizzes 20%
  • Final 30%
