In Fall 2005, the Warrior Marching Band made its return to ESU's Eiler-Martin Stadium for the first time in over 20 years.

The band participates in all ESU Football home games and select away games (including all playoff games), and has performed in the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Marching Show in Allentown, Sounds of the Valley Exhibition at Pleasant Valley High School, Soundfest at Nazareth Area High School, and Northampton High School's Festival of Bands.

In 2005 the band traveled with ESU's Northeast Region Champion football team to the National Semi-Finals in Grand Rapids, Michigan!

The Marching Band is offered during the fall football season and serves to support and enhance team spirit, spectator enthusiasm, and supports ESU spirit events.

Brand new in the 2007 season, the Marching Band will be offered for credit (you may choose to take it for credit or not).

The halftime show for the upcoming 2007 season will feature music from the motion picture Pulp Fiction, including songs such as Miserlou and Jungle Boogie.

The Marching Band will also sponsor the fifth annual ESU Band Day at the football game during Family Weekend on Saturday, September 29th!

Warrior Band Camp this year will be held one week prior to the start of the Fall Semester, on August 20-25 (for those who live in the dorms, you will move in on Sunday the 19th).

All students interested in participating should contact either Dr. French or the Band Assistant Office to get and give any necessary information.

Incoming students will have their music sent to them by their section leader through either e-mail or regular mail.

The rehearsal schedule during the fall semester is Wednesday 5:00 - 7:00 PM, Friday 4:15 - 6:00 PM, and Home Game Day Saturdays (time will be determined based on the time of the game)

Students can be selected for leadership opportunities as Drum Majors, Color Guard Coordinator, Color Guard Captain, Section Leaders, and Equipment Managers.

We also have positions for anyone interested as Uniform Manger and Field Crew.

All students who participate in Marching Band are eligible for Warrior Band Spirit Scholarships (amount determined by attitude and participation), other scholarships depending on level of participation, and for the newly established Kathryn A. Mullins Memorial Band Scholarship.

This scholarship is awarded in the Spring semester to the one upperclass band student who best exemplifies Warrior Band spirit, leadership, and dedication to University Bands.
