Welcome to the Statistical Education and Consulting Center (SECC), at the Department of Mathematics, East Stroudsburg University (ESU) of Pennsylvania. The Statistical Education and Consulting Center is an educational and service unit in the Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the faculty who use statistical methods in other Departments at ESU. The Statistical Education and Consulting Center provides statistical services such as study design, analysis and interpretation of data and advanced data analysis for the university and research community.
The SECC is the result of a grass roots effort by faculty across the University to
- Work together in an interdisciplinary fashion toward greater statistical support of overall University education efforts, and
- Provide a mechanism to share statistical expertise, software, and reference materials
This service is free to the East Stroudsburg University.
We welcome enquiries from potential users on campus. Undergraduate students, research staff and professors are welcome to contact us directly; graduate students working on their Master theses or research projects are also welcome but should first obtain the approval of their advisors.
The Statistical Education and Consulting Center staff has a wide range of expertise in statistical data analysis and processing, experimental design, statistical and mathematical modeling of the environment, etc. The Center also provides consulting services for the University students in the use of packages such as SAS, SPSS, Minitab, Excel, and Mathematica.
