The 40 credits of mathematics required by this program comprise a real mathematics major while ensuring that the topics in mathematics that are most relevant to the student's future teaching needs are addressed thoroughly.

Interwoven into our instruction is the appropriate use of technology and how this technology may be used in the 6 to 12 classroom.

Students who complete the program have had great success passing the Praxis exams required for certification and in finding positions in school districts upon graduation.
