Students in other majors who wish to deepen their knowledge of mathematics can earn a minor in mathematics by completing the courses listed below. For students in majors such as computer science and physics, the minor may require only one or two additional mathematics courses beyond the mathematics courses already required for their major. To register for the Minor in Mathematics the student should contact the Mathematics Department.

Minor in Mathematics
(21 credits)

Required Courses:

MATH 140 Calculus I

MATH 141 Calculus II

MATH 220 Discrete Mathematical Structures

MATH 240 Multivariate Calculus

MATH 320 Linear Algebra

MATH Elective: One 300 or higher level mathematics course

Grades of C or better required in all mathematics courses used for the Minor in Mathematics.
