MS Clinical Exercise Physiology The Clinical Exercise Physiology Program is a limited access program. The class is typically restricted to the top 25 qualified applicants.
The deadline for application to the program is MARCH 1st.
Students who have successfully completed a baccalaureate degree at an accredited college or university are eligible to apply to the Graduate School and to the Master of Science Degree program with a major in Clinical Exercise Physiology.
Students may come from a variety of programs other than Exercise Science. Pre-requisite courses are Anatomy and Physiology and Exercise Physiology.
Students must complete 2 applications for admission to the Clinical Exercise Physiology Program: the general graduate school application and a supplemental department application.
Transcripts, three (3) letters of recommendation, a letter of intent, and background experiences will be individually evaluated to determine an applicant's eligibility.

MS Exercise Science Students applying for admission (deadline MARCH 1st) into the Masters Degree in Exercise Science will have:
- An overall GPA of 2.5/4.0 in a related field of study
- A major GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Submission of a writing sample which outlines proposed research interests
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
- Successful completion of prerequisite coursework in Exercise Physiology and Anatomy and Physiology
- An on-campus interview
Students must also complete a general graduate school application.
