The M.Ed. in Elementary Education program at East Stroudsburg University is for students seeking to become a master teacher in the elementary classroom.

This degree is based on the Advanced Teacher Education Conceptual Framework and is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.

The purpose of this program is to guide students to become leaders who combine research and best practice theory to make reflective and synergistic decisions that consistently support and extend the learning of all students.

This program is offered to all students, no matter what your previous degree is in.

There are three different options of this program.

The first is for students who have and undergraduate degree in elementary education and want to pursue a M.Ed. in elementary education.

The second is for students who have an undergraduate degree and are certified in an area other than elementary education (e.g., special education, secondary education) and want to extend thier teacher certificate to cover elementary education or early childhood education.

The third is for students who have an undergraduate degree in an area other than education and want to pursure their elementary education teacher certificate.
