This is the 1st Linuxware workshop to meet, share, learn and discuss about Linux systems and applications in general.

There has been discussion on whether there needs to have a regular meeting on how to use and apply Linuxware among users, developers and researchers.

However, there was a consensus to open the Linuxware workshop to a more general population as well as students who are interested in using Linux instead of limiting to Linux researchers and developers.

ESU computer science department volunteered to organize the 1st workshop at Poconos.
