Welcome to the Art Department at East Stroudsburg Univeristy. Students can choose between a BA in Art and Design, a BA in Art and/or a minor in Art. There are five specialized art studios specifically designed for classes in Basic and Advanced Drawing, Painting I and II, Composion and Painting, Illustration, Graphic Design: Advertising and Communication Graphics, Sculpture, Ceramics I and II, 2-D Design and 3-D Design.

Students are offered the following Art History courses: Introduction to Art, History of Art I, History of Art II, American Art, The Visual Arts Since 1945, Woman Artists-From the Middle Ages to the Present.

The Madelon Powers Gallery features an ongoing series of exhibitions by professional artists as well as by students in a 1,000 square foot exhibition space with two-story high ceilings.
