Bachelor of Arts with a Geography major-33 semester hours
  • Required major courses: GEOG 110, 120, 340, 440, 495; two courses from GEOG 230, 234, 330, 333; 12 semester hours in Physical or Human Geography areas. Physical Geography track-one course from Group A and three courses from Group B. Human Geography track-three courses from Group A and one course from Group B. Group A-GEOG 210, 212, 231,310, 311. Group B-GEOG 121, 220, 320, 321.
  • Corequisite courses: CPSC 100 or 111 and MATH 110.
  • In order to remain in the program, students must maintain a 2.50 average in major courses. A minimum of 18 credits in Geography requirements must be earned at ESU.

Geography minor-21 semester hours

  • GEOG 110, GEOG 120, GEOG 130, GEOG 340 or GEOG 341, GEOG 440 or GEOG 495. One course from the upper division physical geography courses (Geog120, 220, 320, 321)and one course from the upper division human geography courses (GEOG 210, 212, 230, 231, 234, 310, 311, 330, 331, 333).
