This is a resource for incoming international students covering topics such as check-in, orientation, housing, health information and fee payment.
As an international student, you are required by the United States Department of Homeland Security to report to the Office of International Programs prior to the beginning of your academic program. New students are required to attend both the check-in and orientation program; and returning students are required to attend the mandatory check-in (and are welcome to attend the orientation, if desired).
Orientation for international students is typically held the Thursday and Friday prior to the start of the Semester. Please be aware that the check-in and orientation process involves multiple mandatory steps including orientation, placement tests if applicable, course registration, and a health screening. On average it takes 5 - 7 days to complete the process. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
