During the academic year, the Department of Academic Enrichment and Learning offers individual and small group tutoring through its university-wide tutorial program.
Housed in the Learning Center in Rosenkrans East, the tutoring program provides tutoring for most 100 and 200 level undergraduate courses.
Students may request tutors in one or more courses by completing the appropriate forms which are available both in the Learning Center in Rosenkrans East and printable online.

The tutoring is done by both undergraduate students and graduates who have at least an earned Bachelor's Degree.
The tutors are highly qualified individuals who receive intensive training designed to acquaint them with appropriate tutoring techniques and to sensitize them to the requirements of students.
Tutors also receive instruction in assisting students with improving study and time management skills, and in working with students who have special needs.
In addition to individual and small group tutoring, drop-in tutoring labs in a variety of high demand subject areas (ie. mathematics, economics, physics, chemistry, writing skills) are offered each semester.
These labs, which are advertised widely across the campus, occur at set times and require no prior appointment by students, who may "drop-in" at their convenience during the scheduled tutoring lab.
Tutoring at ESU is a well-subscribed and active service which has become a highly respected and widely utilized resource.
Although ESU is one of the smaller universities in Pennsylvania, we are fortunate in that we have one of the largest and best supported tutoring programs in the state.
Both faculty and administrators have high regard for the value of continuous, structured tutoring to the academic success of students.
