The Sport Management Club (a student organization under the Student Activity Association) provides the means for undergraduate and graduate students at ESU to gain invaluable experience applying sport management concepts in practical settings.
As a means of satisfying student learning outcomes, the department recommends active club membership of at least one year.
Students are highly encouraged to participate for their entire time at ESU.
The Sport Management faculty and ESU Athletics have worked to create some exciting opportunities for sport management students at ESU which include assisting at ESU sporting events, as well as managing and marketing events such as Super Soccer in the fall semester and the Puma sale every spring semester. The Spring 2013 Puma Sale will be held March 7-9, 2013 in the Keystone Room on the campus of ESU. Dates and times are subject to change without notice. Puma Sale Times: Thurs, March 7 & Fri, March 8: 10am - 8pm, Sat, March 9 10am-4pm. These applied experiences in marketing, facilities and event management prove vital in boosting student resumes!
