The Sport Management Club (a student organization under the Student Activity Association) provides the means for undergraduate and graduate students at ESU to gain invaluable experience applying sport management concepts in practical settings.

As a means of satisfying student learning outcomes, the department recommends active club membership of at least one year.

Students are highly encouraged to participate for their entire time at ESU.

The Sport Management faculty and ESU Athletics have worked to create some exciting opportunities for sport management students at ESU which include assisting at ESU sporting events, as well as managing and marketing events on campus and in the Pocono area. These applied experiences in marketing, facilities and event management prove vital in boosting student resumes!

The club meets regularly to identify and discuss professional development, volunteering and social events.

For more information about the Sport Management Club, please contact the department at (570) 422-3495 or Zimbar 210. Interested students can also contact club co-presidents: TJ OR Jerry

Sport Management Club meetings are typically every Tuesday at 2:00 PM in 205 Zimbar Hall. Please check the Sport Management Bulletin Board outside Zimbar 242 for announcements and job postings. Also students can stay informed through Twitter @esusmgt.
