The ESU Health Education M.S. program is designed for working professionals with career-relevant courses delivered entirely online.

The M.S. in Health Education is designed for the working professional - The Master of Science (M.S.) in Health Education is designed to enhance an earned related undergraduate degree and/or to expand and advance the knowledge and skills of professionals who are practicing and/or working in settings associated with health education/health promotion.

Because the M.S. in Health Education is geared towards the working health education/health promotion professional, capstone proposals and projects are unique to the student and their current or anticipated professional experiences.

Graduate students in our Health Education M.S. program receive a broad scope of courses that will promote the development of knowledge and skills required of health educators.

The M.S. in Health Education has been developed to prepare students to sit for the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam and the Master Certified Health Education Specialist (MCHES) exam as offered by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC).
