Student Pennsylvania State Education Association (PSEA)

The ESU chapter is a student branch or the Pennsylvania Education Association and National Education Association.

Membership includes liability protection, professional journals and other benefits.

Field trips, speakers and meetings provide professional background information for students interested in the teaching profession.

Kappa Delta Pi (Honors Society for Education)

Kappa Delta Pi, a national honor society, is the highest honor society in education on the campus of East Stroudsburg University.

Membership is by invitation to junior and seniors in their teacher education curricula who have attained a quality point average of 3.4 or higher, have completed a minimum of sixty-two hours of work at this

University and exhibit commendable personal qualities and worthy educational ideals.

Kappa Delta Pi endeavors to maintain a higher degree of professional fellowship among its members and to quicken professional growth by honoring achievement in educational work. Faculty advisers Dr. Brooke Langan, (570) 422-3619 and Dr. Shawn Watkins (570) 422-3415.

ESU PDS Student Association (Professional Development School Program)

ECED PreK-4 and Dual Majors participate in this service focused student group. Students will be involved in service projects at our PDS sites as well as sharing experiences and mentoring peers in other cohort levels across the program.

Transfer Student HUB

Transfer Student HUB is a student organization that works to provide transfer students the opportunity to fully transition into the East Stroudsburg University student body. TSH works closely with the Transfer Center and the Student Activity Association to coordinate events, programs and initiatives for transfer students to promote successful transition both socially and academically, as well as acclimate to the Poconos and the surrounding area.

The TSH is an inclusive campus organization for transfer students that provides opportunities to interact with fellow transfer students, develop a sense of belonging, and sponsor opportunities that enhance social consciousness.
