As a graduate student in Instructional Technology, you will participate in social, cultural, and economic transformations. The learning environment fosters the preparation of practitioners who utilize critical reflections, research, and collaboration to produce and implement innovative technologies to address the evolving needs of learners in a global society. The graduate programs develop educators, prepare specialists in k-12 schools, and instructional technology personnel in education, business, or industry.

Students can obtain the following:

  • Master's of Education degree in Instructional Technology
  • Pennsylvania Instructional Technology Specialist Certificate

The program provides students with an opportunity to take courses from ESU and Kutztown University. Students who successfully complete the program become proficient in integrating technology in teaching.

Students can choose courses that explore the following areas:

  • Research in Instructional Technology
  • Learning theories
  • Interactive web design
  • Mobile learning

After completion of course work, students design a professional portfolio to demonstrate proficiency in outcomes and standards.
