  • Mission
The mission of Sigma Beta Delta is to encourage and recognize scholarship and accomplishment among students of business, management and administration, and to encourage and promote aspirations toward personal and professional improvement and a life distinguished by honorable service to humankind. Sigma Beta Delta was established to honor students who have attained superior records in business programs in schools and colleges with regional accreditation.

Accounting Society

Accounting Society focuses on making leaders for tomorrow’s workplace, merging college with a professional environment, exposing students to opportunities and career paths within accounting. These focuses are realized through networking with various industry leaders and professional organizations. Accounting Society helps develop practical skills that are useful to all people; ranging from budgeting to taxes. The skills and knowledge gained in the society flow seamlessly into the professional world and everyday life. We also give the opportunity for members to obtain certifications from the IRS in tax preparation in accordance with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. Accounting Society is open to all East Stroudsburg University students.

Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club provides opportunities for students to explore and pursue their creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial interests. If you are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial lifestyle or career, or would like to participate in the ownership, management and operation of your own small business, or would like to be involved in a new venture creation, then this club is for you. Through various activities such as the Business Plan Competition, Entrepreneurial Workshops and Seminars, Invited Speakers, and Networking with Entrepreneurs, students gain exposure to practitioners and experts from business and industry, access to critical university resources including the Entrepreneurship Leadership Center (ELC) and The ESU Business Accelerator, and are empowered with the knowledge and skills to be successful. In sum, the Entrepreneurship Club mobilizes the talents, interests, and enthusiasm of students and combines them with other resources to build new businesses that create new jobs and revenues as well as generate personal and social wealth.

Investment Club

The ESU Investment Club provides students with an outstanding opportunity to share and further knowledge of finance and investing ideas. Club members develop expertise in making investment decisions by analyzing the economy, industries, and companies, and managing a diversified portfolio of securities. The club welcomes part-time and full-time East Stroudsburg University students.
