SIFE - (Students in Free Enterprise) is a global non-profit organization active in more than forty countries, funded by financial contributions from corporations, entrepreneurs, foundations, government agencies, and individuals. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE establishes student teams on university campuses. These teams are led by faculty advisors and they are challenged to develop community outreach projects relevant to SIFE's five educational topics:
- Market Economics 100
- Success Skills
- Financial Literacy
- Business Ethics
American Marketing Association - The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the world's largest and most comprehensive association of marketers. Whether you are preparing for a career in marketing or just exploring the field, the AMA is the information and networking source. Involvement in the American Marketing Association Collegiate Chapter (AMACC) will provide you with relevant industry experience and skills that will increase your value in today's competitive environment. The chapter engages in service projects of benefit to the University and community, and hosts social activities and events for its members.
Entreprenuership Club - The Entrepreneurship Club provides opportunities for students to explore and pursue their creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial interests. If you are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial lifestyle or career, or would like to participate in the ownership, management and operation of your own small business, or would like to be involved in a new venture creation, then this club is for you. Through various activities such as the Business Plan Competition, Entrepreneurial Workshops and Seminars, Invited Speakers, and Networking with Entrepreneurs, students gain exposure to practitioners and experts from business and industry, access to critical university resources including the Entrepreneurship Leadership Center (ELC) and The ESU Business Accelerator, and are empowered with the knowledge and skills to be successful. In sum, the Entrepreneurship Club mobilizes the talents, interests, and enthusiasm of students and combines them with other resources to build new businesses that create new jobs and revenues as well as generate personal and social wealth.
