REGISTRATION BEGINS MONDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2008.
Early registration is advised because classes can fill quickly; likewise, classes can be canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
If you are enrolled in a degree or formal certification program, you are urged to check with your advisor before registering to determine if the course or workshop will fit into one of the requirements in your specific program. If you are intending to enroll in a formal program, please request a Undergraduate or Graduate Catalog so you are aware of program requirements.
Each semester and during the summer, East Stroudsburg University offers between 25 and 30 graduate courses in education at off-campus locations throughout northeastern Pennsylvania and Smethport in McKean County. Most classes are held in public school facilities; however, some classes are held at hotels and occasionally at local fire halls.
The off-campus program is intended to make graduate education and professional development opportunities available to professional educators at more convenient times and places. During the fall and spring semesters, these courses usually extend over several weeks, but not necessarily the full fifteen-week semester. Some meet in a 3-weekend format on Friday nights and all day Saturday. During the summer months, many courses are offered in a one-week workshop format.
