P.A.L. is a dynamic program with a record of success that strives to provide diverse students assistance and targeted intervention through peer advising, supportive services and specialized activities. We at ESU recognize the potential of every student and understand the challenges present in an academic setting. As a result, we are committed to providing students the guidance and support necessary to ensure intellectual and personal success at ESU, while working to promote a welcoming and understanding environment on campus.

As a program dedicated to promoting academic excellence and retention at ESU, P.A.L. strives to:

  • Assist students through personal sessions, events, and online services
  • Keep students informed about university requirements, policies, procedures and activities
  • Provide leadership opportunities for students who participate in the program.
  • Improve the campus atmosphere by promoting diversity and supporting culturally relevant programming and student organizations
  • Serve as an information hub for all university related student inquiries
  • Promote the positive aspects of East Stroudsburg University

The P.A.L. Program is currently in its second year of operation, and the number of students we have been able to assists is truly inspiring. We firmly believe that we can make a difference in the lives of our students and welcome the opportunity to be a part of the learning experience.
