Author of "Web Marketing for Dummies" To Lead Free Workshop on Website Marketing At ESU, November 5

Jan Zimmerman, author of "Web Marketing for Dummies," will present a workshop titled "Marketing Your Business in a Cyber World," on Thursday, November 5, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Lower Dansbury Commons at East Stroudsburg University. The event, organized and sponsored by ESU’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Center and others, is targeted to businesses but is also open to the general public at no cost.

Ms. Zimmerman will cover web marketing techniques with website owners and other interested participants. Among the topics to be covered are:

• Learning how to drive visitors to your website
• Mastering techniques to keep your site updated
• Building a public presence and domain name recognition off-line
• Using video to attract attention

A book signing will follow the workshop. Copies of "Web Marketing for Dummies" will be available for purchase in advance, and following the workshop, at the university bookstore.
