36 ESU Students Named to Who's Who
For seventy-four years, Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges have honored outstanding campus leaders for their scholastic, leadership and community achievements. The 2007 edition will include the names of 36 students who have been selected as national outstanding leaders from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
The campus nominating committee and the editors of the annual Who's Who directory have recognized these students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success. They join an elite group of students selected from more than 2,300 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries. Outstanding students have been honored in the annual directory since it was first published in 1934.
Through its years of serving higher education, Who's Who Among Students has become one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the nation, having earned the overwhelming respect of college faculties and administrations. And for the students - the outstanding campus leaders of the year - national recognition by the Who's Who program marks a pinnacle of scholastic achievement.
