Mahaffay Placed on PSAC East Women's Volleyball Second Team

EAST STROUDSBURG - Freshman outside hitter Kayla Mahaffay (Coal City, Ill./Coal City) has been named to the PSAC East women's volleyball second team, the conference announced Tuesday.

Mahaffay led the Warriors in both kills (315) and hitting percentage (.233) while playing in a team-high 112 games in her first year at ESU. She also contributed 54 digs and 33 blocks.

Mahaffay began her career with 10 or more kills in her first five matches and finished the season with 14 matches in double figures, including a season-high 20 kills against Tiffin. She was second on the team with 2.54 kills per game against PSAC East opponents.
