Staub, Cleffi Mentioned on Daktronics Women's Soccer Northeast Region Team

EAST STROUDSBURG - East Stroudsburg University women's soccer co-captains Brittany Staub and Janel Cleffi have earned spots on the Daktronics Division II Northeast Region second team after leading the Warriors to a second-place finish in the PSAC East in 2007.

This marks Staub's third selection to an All-Region team in her career, following second team mention from the NSCAA as a sophomore and a junior.

She was a four-year starter at back and will have the opportunity to become just the third ESU women's soccer player to be a four-year member of the All-PSAC first team when the selections are announced on Wednesday.

Cleffi finished the season tied for second on the team with seven goals and three assists and controlled the game for ESU while starting all 20 games in the midfield as a junior. She helped the Warriors to a 12-7-1 record and the first PSAC postseason win for the program in nine years.
