The East Stroudsburg University Entrepreneurial Leadership Center (ELC) was developed in 2009 through an economic development grant from the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) and further supported by a U.S. Department of Labor Wall Street West WIRED Grant. ESU's interest in developing the ELC stems from the campus' growing interest in entrepreneurship, the continued success of the Award Winning Business Accelerator Program and the new College of Business and Management.
The ELC is located within the division of Research and Economic Development. The ELC supports other successful initiatives such as ESU's Center for Research and Economic Development (CFRED) and the Pocono Mountains Keystone Innovation Zone (PMKIZ). Services offered at the ELC help to close the gap between a business idea and the realization of an actual business. Leadership, resources and tools are available.
ELC Vision The East Stroudsburg University Entrepreneurial Leadership Center's vision is to be nationally recognized for its entrepreneurial culture
