Policy Statement:
Any officially recognized ESU student clubs and organizations, campus committees, and University departments are permitted to request residence hall lounge and common space for meetings, programs, or other functions related to their organizational purpose.
For a one-time reservation request, the above mentioned groups should obtain a Residence Hall Lounge Reservation form from the appropriate Resident Director or from the Housing and Operations Office.
For repeated/ongoing lounge or common space requests, additional approval must be given by the Community Board of the respective residence hall.
Additional time may be necessary to approve the request, with approval time not to exceed two weeks.
Appeal Statement:
Groups whose request is not approved may submit a written appeal to the Director of Residence Life and Housing.
Definitions:
Common space may refer to lobbies, main lounges, secondary lounges, kitchen space, recreation rooms, project rooms and conference rooms.
