Community Outreach Programs

Community Outreach program is designed to offer programs for adults and children in the community. East Stroudsburg faculty, staff and students teach dance, swimming, CPR, First Aid, Lifeguarding and other children's programs.

Programs Offered:

Youth Track and Field Program - This program is designed for children (ages 6 - 12) to be exposed to and compete in multiple Track and Field events. Events include but not limited to: sprinting, distance running, baby hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin (Turbo Jav). Children only need sneakers and water! Practice: Tuesday: June 3, 10, 17, 24; 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Meets: Thursday: June 5, 12, 19, 26; 6:00 PM
Where: ESU Eiler-Martin Stadium
Fee: $65 per child. $50 for each additional child from the same family.

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY - APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED UNTIL MAY 23RD, 2014

Aqua Tots - This program is designed for children to develop a comfort level in and around the water, as well as a readiness for learning to swim. Information for Spring 2015 forthcoming. 

Learn to Swim - This program is designed for children to develop in and around the water. Classes range from Beginner through Level 6 in the “Learn to Swim” program for ages 4 and older. Program offered in Fall and Spring Semesters.

Master's Swimming Clinic - (May 3rd, 2014) Adult Masters swimmers and triathletes looking to improve freestyle technique. Open to anyone that has exhausted NCAA eligibility.

Community Dance Programs - Programs offered to Children and Adults in creative dance, musical theater, Yoga, and pilates.

ESU for Kids - Is a summer camp program for children offering a wide variety of courses designed for children ages 6-16. Experienced, professional instructors are eager to teach and challenge each student. ESU for Kids delivers affordable learning and memorable experience.
