Community Outreach program is designed to offer programs for adults and children in the community. East Stroudsburg faculty, staff and students teach dance, swimming, CPR, First Aid, Life guarding and other children's programs.

Programs Offered:

Community Dance Programs - Programs offered to Children creative dance, hip-hop/jazz, and lyrical contemporary dance.

Learn to Swim
 - This program is designed for children to develop in and around the water. Classes range from Beginner through Level 6 in the "Learn to Swim" program for ages 4 and older. Program offered in Fall and Spring Semesters.

ESU for Kids - Is a summer camp program for children offering a wide variety of courses designed for children ages 6-16. Experienced, professional instructors are eager to teach and challenge each student. ESU for Kids delivers affordable learning and memorable experience.

Youth Track and Field Program - This program is designed for children (ages 6 - 12) to be exposed to and compete in multiple Track and Field events. Events include but not limited to: sprinting, distance running, baby hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin (Turbo Jav). Children only need sneakers and water! Fee: $65—1st Child & $50—Siblings from same family

Aqua Tots - This program is designed for children to develop a comfort level in and around the water, as well as a readiness for learning to swim.

Adult Swim Lessons - This program is designed for beginner adult swimmers.

Master's Swimming - (2014-2015) The Masters Swimming Program is open to individuals of all swimming ability and is conducted as an ongoing swimming clinic / practice group.

Lifeguard Re-certification - This course is designed for students who already have a complete certification in Lifeguard/ First AID training and CPR/AED and is expired. Expired certifications are accepted up to 12 months after date of expiration. Upon successful completion of water test and written exam, students will receive a 2 year Certification in Lifeguarding, First AID, and CPR/AED. Must be at least 15 years old and pass certain swimming requirements (500 yard continuous swim)

Lifeguard Certification - If you’re 15 or older and looking for a great summer job or challenging career that’s in demand, the Lifeguarding program is a great start. Through videos, group discussion and hands-on practice in the pool, you’ll learn patron rescue and surveillance skills, first aid and CPR/AED. Courses are available with a main focus on the lifeguard safety in a pool environment. Must be at least 15 years old and pass certain swimming requirements (300 yard continuous swim, 2 minutes treading water, and timed swim).

 Performance Enhancement Workshop: Sports Psychology - For Coaches and Student Athletes: How do you apply mental strength to your formula? This brief workshop will give you an introduction to explore the field of sports psychology and how you may apply it to yourself or your athletes.
