Connecting to the Internet in my dorm room?
Before accessing the Internet, computers will be scanned for up-to-date antivirus software and the latest Windows updates. Failure to have updates installed will delay your access to the Internet. You must have a valid ESU account in order to start the process. After completion you will be able to register gaming consoles and other devices that are WIFI capable. All Residence Halls have wireless access. If problems persists contact the ResNet HelpDesk at ext. 3789. Click here for More information.
Are there any WIFI hotspots on campus?
Yes; the Library, Fine Arts, University Center, Science & Technology Building, Residence Halls, Rosenkrans Tutoring area and "Quad" (weather permitting) are "hotspots" for students. Faculty can contact Academic Computing if they need wireless access elsewhere.
