ESU Parents Association
The mission of the ESU Parents Association is to promote mutual understanding and goodwill between parents, guardians and family members of ESU students and the University community, through the exchange of information and the involvement of families in a variety of campus programs. Through the functioning of this body, families are recognized as an integral part of the University community and educational experience.
Annual Goals Offer several business meetings per academic year in order to plan programs, host university speakers, and share information.
Participate in campus programs such as new student Orientation, Family Weekend, Community on the Quad, and the Annual Brunch with University Leadership.
Assist in fund-raising efforts, with particular emphasis on the annual Parents Phonathon.
How to Participate Parents and Organizations: Make a donation to student scholarships and programs.
Receive Parents Association meeting invitations. Contact Warren Anderson, Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at wanderson@po-box.esu.edu, (570) 422-3798, Flagler-Metzgar Center - 2nd Floor.
Attend meetings (plan on 3-6 per year, usually Sundays on the weekends when students return to campus before or after breaks).
Serve on the Scholarship and/or Finance Committee.
Participate in programs and events.
Interact with other parents.
