...YOUR NEW ROLE...and...THE ESU EXPERIENCE...MAKE THE MOST OF THEM!

The quality of your new role as a university student and the quality of your ESU experience, will be directly related to the amount of enthusiasm and effort you put into them. Having a mentor can help you in your transition.

Fall Student Mentor Program Led by Student Orientation Leaders ("OL"s)

Orientation Leaders have 'been in your shoes.' They understand your feelings and they can help you through your transition from your previous school to ESU. An OL Mentor can help you:

  • Find information and locations
  • Get connected with your academic advisor
  • Get involved in campus activities
  • Make new friends
  • Learn student success strategies
  • Sign up for a tutor
  • Manage your time
  • Enjoy your new ESU home

Incoming Fall 2009 students will have the opportunity to sign-up for an OL Mentor at Summer 2009 Orientation, and by completing an online form this summer.
