ESU has much to offer students who are interested in music. One can pursue a music degree, combine a music minor with any of the majors offered at the university, or simply enjoy getting involved through our performing groups, private lessons, and music courses. Student performers are showcased in more than two dozen events each year.

Performances by guest artists provide students with an opportunity to hear and to interact with world-class musicians. Recent guests include members of the New York Philharmonic,the Meridian String Quartet, and jazz musicians Clark Terry, Dave Frishberg, Bob Dorough, Phil Woods, Dave Liebman, and John Coates Jr.
